Several Burbanks families migrated to Michigan in the 1830s and 1840s. At
one of the families was as follows:
George G. Burbank b. c.1800-03, Montpelier(?) VT; d. MI
Doctor; may have lived in NY prior to MI. Family history states that he
came to Detroit area when it was a French and Indian settlement with
five boys before Michigan was a state. He built the first hospital
(Burbank Infirmary) about 1834.
m. c.1834, Lucy Hinchey (also MD), b. c1802/3 NY. They had three known
children:
1. G. M. Burbank (son), b. c1835, NY; Resided Ann Arbor, MI.
2. Samuel G. M. Burbank, b. June 6, 1840 Ann Arbor, MI; d. Nov. 30,
1913.
Resided: Ann Arbor and Owosso, Michigan
m. Amanda Batchellor, b. Apr. 12, 1846 Elyria, OH; d. Apr. 3, 1922.
Dau. of Charles Chester Batchellor, b. 1813 in Fort McHenry, Baltimnore,
MD, and Ann Harris.
3. A. T.(or F.?) Burbank (son), b. c1843 Ann Arbor, MI.
Samuel G. M. and Amanada Burbank had four known children:
1. Charles Eber Burbank (12/6/1870-11/5/1947) m. Ella Aubaugh (d. 1918)
a. Mabel B. Burbank (2/7/1912-1918)
b. Pearl R. Burbank (4/6/1913- ) m. Wm. Frazer
c. Hazel E. Burbank (9/14/1914- ) m. Alvin App (Opp?)
d. Carl E. Burbank (11/28/1915-1918)
f. Ellen Burbank (c1916-1918)
g. baby girl (c1917-1918)
Note: Ella and four children died within two weeks of each other
during 1918 flu epidemic.
2. Mable May (Mae?) Burbank (5/1/1873-6/18/1943) m. Fred Charles Wickham
(1/21/1869- 2/22/1954)
3. Delano E. Burbank (8/21/1877-11/24/1948) m1 Nellie (__) m2 Mabel Fish
a. Doris Arlene Burbank (8/27/1904- ) m. Owen Borden
4. Frances M. Burbank (4/3/1885-5/5/1977) m. (__) Scofield
I don't see a direct connection with any of the people you named, but
with a little bit of research, maybe you will find a connection.
Maybe Delano had more children then I know about.
