ANNA HAD A SON DAVID LINCOLNOGGER BUT NEVER MARRIED HIS FATHER.
I'M GUESSING THEY LIVED IN THE CHARLESTON WV AREA FOR SOME TIME IF NOT THEIR ENTIRE LIVES. SORRY NO DATES. DAVID LINCOLNOGGER WAS MY GRANDPA HE DIED MAY 2010 IN A WORK RELATED ACCIDENT.

I have Johann Leonhard Burkhardt's death in GGT on 21 Nov 1755, bur. 22 Nov. He died of Asthma. That calculates his birth around 20 Dec 1683. Where is Gollhoffen??

I am trying to find any info on Ingeborg Burckhardt, born 16 june 1927 in Frankfurt/Main (Fechenheim),Germany. Her Parents were Otto Friedrich Karl Burckhardt and Amalia (Wolf *1899) The info I got was from Bremen:
She immigrated on 24 june 1953 from Bremerhaven on the ship Fairsea to Quebec/Ontario. This is all I know, does anyone know where I go from here? I do not know if she went to Canada to work or to get married.Thanks for any help

Bade Wuerttemberg to day, near Stuttgart, Waiblingen, Korb and Weinstadt. My family tree realised.
Melchior Burckhardsmeyer born in Grünbach (Weinstadt) 1649, married and stayed in Kleinheppach (Korb) near Stuttgart (12 kms). Religion protestants. Wine grocers and culture in Kleinheppach. One of mine left his large family (more ten children) always in Kleinheppach to Strasbourg (Elsass) in France in 1794.
I have certainly unknowns parents of this ancestor...

i dont know i only know my ggrandmother and her sister.i ran across her parents names on her death certificate.then i asked my mother about them.i was told along time ago they where from odessa russia.my mom said they spoke both russian and germen.my ggrandmothers sister was born in russia but my ggrandmother was born in South Dakota.her sisters niece was May Zemlicka.my mom says May was in aberdeen but she isnt sure if May is still alive.

Theodore Burckhardt was married to Louisa Goetz (born in Heilbronn) about 1870 somewhere in B-W, Germany. In 1890s they lived in Villa Burckhardt in Baden-Baden until his death in 1898. They had 4 children who were born before moving to Baden-Baden. His widow was written by a relative, Count Colonado Burckhardt, in 1907.

Hi, I'm just taking a stab in the dark with this, but my fourth great grandmother, was a Mary Hodges, who had a father named James, and was born in the early 1800's. I believe she had a brother also named James. My Mary Hodges was born in Cambridge, Vermont, which is now a part of NY, and married a Henry Mitchell, of Le Boef, PA where they made their home. Was just curious, if this could be the possible same Hodges family?

I am seeking info on Frederick Burckard from the late 1800's. Henry Burckard followed his brother William to NY from Frankfort, Germany, after the Kaiser took over the family estate. He sent for the family servant Kundeunda and they were married. Frederick was a twin (twin died as baby). Henry Kundeunda had 9? children with two sets of twins. Any connections?

My great grandfather, for example, was Philip Burckhardt, born in New York City, as I discovered in the Census. I'm now trying to identify my great great grandfather; unfortunately, I don't yet know his given name, but I suspect he was born in Germany and died in New York City about 1910.

My GG Grandmother was Mary Burckhard, b. 8-8-1884; died 1973 in Lemon SD, buried Bison SD. Her parents were Anton Burckhard,b. 12-17-1859 and Mary Martin, b. 1862.

Mary was born in Odessa Russia. She married Peter Vetter, b. Seltz Russia in 1883. Peter and Mary traveled to Liverpool Canada in 1902 and then on to Abberdean,SD.

Those names don't ring a bell, but I am not real familiar with the names yet. See if any of this rings true in your line. Adam Burchard, b. 1859 in Germany. Married Mary Martian in 1883 in Seltz, Russia. Family left Russia in 1902. Sailed to Winnipeg Canada then traveled to Aberdeen, SD. Their children were: Marianna(Mary),Anne, Pete,Tony,Brackley,Katie, and Joe. Brackely, Katie, and Joe were all born in Aberdeen.

I'm trying to trace the ancestors of my great grandfather Philip Burckhardt, who was born in New York City in 1850 and died there about 1910. I'm fairly certain that his father was born in Germany and that he died in NYC; but I don't know his first name yet!

What particularly caught my attention in the messages between you and Debbe is that some of her Burckhardts came from Wuertenberg, Bavaria. Also, I saw that you asked about a Catherina Burckhardt; my great grandmother was a Catherine Stolz who came from Wuertenberg. The odds are against there actually being a connection -- but I can't help hoping.

My Mary Hodges was b-Aug.21,1819 i have no siblings listed but i will look up in my paper see if i have any. Mary's father was James Hodges married Peggy Morgan they married Nov.11,1808. James father was Allen Hodges and he died in 1843. I hope we have a match, so we can help each other
