Della M. Burd b.11/09/1887 d.06/20/1955
Robert O. Burd b.1865 d.1949 (per tombstone)
Flora Burd b. ukn d. ukn

I found all this information in the marriage records.

I also found the newspaper clipping of Edward Burd when he was killed on the Steamer Steuben in Hammondsport.
He married Lydia Mills on 12/29/1896

Turns out they had 3 children! However one of them had died at age 11. Her name was Betsy E. Burd b.08/30/1890 d.12/30/1901 She wasn't mentioned in Ed's newspaper article because she had died 5 years before he did.
Their other two children were as you said Earl W. Burd Sr. (my grandfather) b.04/08/1906 d.04/12/1977 and Pearl A. Burd b.04/08/1906 d.11/23/1962

Earl W. Burd Sr. married Gladys Alice Beam on 05/30/1928. Gladys (my grandmother)b.08/07/1909 d.08/09/1992
They had two children: Earl William Burd Jr. (my dad) b.05/11/1932 (still alive) and Carol Beam Burd b.12/25/? d. ukn
