This is what I know about my Susannah Burd:
John Frederick Gearhart. Born 2 Sep 1825 in worthville, little sandy creek, jefferson county,pa.
Died 24 Mar 1892 in putneyville. (Connies Grgr Grandfather)

He married Susannah Burd 13 Apr 1846 in near Greensburg, Westmorland Co.,Pa. Born 2 Apr 1827.
Died
28 Aug 1882. Buried in putneyville, PA.
the interesting thing about Susannah is that she and John Frederick had a son by the name of Charles Simon
my Gr grandfather. I often wondered where that name Simon came from. Now I wonder if there is a connection to your Simon.
