I'm looking for information on my gggrandfather, Whitman BURDICK b 3 Aug 1829 in New York, died 9 Apr 1879 in Chippewa, Mecosta County, MI. The Michigan Genealogical Death Indexing System lists his father as David C BURDICK, mother Hannah. Father's residence, New York. I believe Whitman was married to Honora , She is listed in the 1880 Mi census with children Aaron Green b PA, Albert BURDICK b. PA, Julia BURDICK b PA Minnie L. Burdick (my ggrandmother) b Michigan, Elmer (David E.) b Michigan. Does any of this look familiar?
