Joan,
When you reply could you please reply to my personal e-mail. I got the notification but your e-mail doesn't show.
My parents are dead, as Is my sister, but she remembered William. There is some confusion on what killed him heartache or cancer. He wore a 3 piece suit so he raised himself up through the ranks to the railway office. I know he kept a record of all the children's Dr. visits in a little book my sister had.By all accounts he was a good man.The only picture I have is one Christianna sent me.I have copies of all the birth certs. and mine say Murphy. I have Murphy and Burdis family geneology on the family trees. They are open to all.My father made it sound like they were right of the boat fromCounty Cork, Ireland, but they came through Scotland. James Murphy was a slipper maker. His wife Isabella signed her name with a cross.
