Hello Caroline, Thanks for responding to my post. Let me introduce myself, I am Austin Mueller, the grandson of Fredericka Louise Kipp, who was the sister or aunt of Rose Burghard. My father Austin, was close to your father, George, and I have several pictures of him, when my father went with his parents to Colorado Springs. I can, also remember visiting Colorado Springs a couple times in the later 40s and early 50s, oh yes and once in 1961, when I drove my grandmother there to visit her relatives including Anna Smith, Paul Kipp, and I believe George or Otto. I am assuming your desecented from Rose and Billy....and I have the right connection here. I have been writing a genealogy book about my ancestors and that prompted my post. I have finished the book and am editing it at this time. I would love to visit with you sometime about our family and ancestors. My very best to you and your family. Dear Dale, I'm researching my family tree, and my grandfather was Stjepan Burghardt, I don't know when he was born and where, but he married my grandmother Alojzija Furst in early 1920 in Croatia, and his father was Jakob Burghardt. So I gues my great grandfather Jakob was born between 1850-1870. Only information I know so far, is that the ancestors of my grandfather came to Croatia somwhere from Germany or Austria. I live with my family in Brisbane Australia, we left Croatia in 1995. If this information can help you with your family tree, please send me some information too.

My better half is/was Peggy Kisner and I am doing research on her side of the family. GG Grandparents were Casper and Catherine Kisner, and thus Agnes Stegmann would be her GGG Grandmother. I saw your post stating you had pictures of her and of the early Casper Kisner family. We would love to see these pictures if you have digital copies, and would love to see any higher tree details of Agnes and above if you had them.

Looking for info and/or relatives of Georg Fredrich Robert Burghardt born in Germany. Arrived America in late 1800s. Oral history has it that he left behind a brother and sister in Nienburg. Georg was known by his 3rd name; Robert. He married a Anna Pohlmann in Germany about 1884.

Hi Dale, I'm Bobbie your cousin Jimmies wife I believe. I was on trying to find out info on jimmie's mom Sylvia since she was killed in 1962 there is little family info. but i saw your post and i do believe around here somewhere i have a burghardt family tree that is hand written and it may have that info on it about Samual. I'll check. Let us here from you i know Jimmie would love to.

Helen Irene Burghardt died June 15, 2007, at age 80.

Helen Irene Hill was born Dec. 13, 1926, in Pittsfield, Mass. She was an executive assistant for GAF/Viewmaster and lived in the Portland area for more than 50 years. Her husband James H. died in 1998.

Survivors include her daughters, Judy A. Capps and Jill S. Burghardt; son, David P. and six grandchildren.

Arrangements by Young's.

My Burghardt and Stegmann ancestors came from Kamenka and Pfeifer, Russia.

My GGGrandmother, Agnes Burghardt was born in Pfeifer, Russia on 25 March, 1848. She married John Stegmann in Pfeifer Russia. She passed away in Chicago on 18 March, 1936.
Her parents were Peter Burghardt born in Pfeifer, Russia, and Barbara Naab born in Kamenka, Russia.

My Great Grandfather, John Peter Stegmann was born 26 September, 1874 in Pfeifer, Russia.
He passed away in Chicago on 3 May, 1951.

John Peter Stegmann emigrated to Topeka, Kansas in 1899 on the ship Palatia.
His mother Agnes (Burghadt) Stegman emigrated to Topeka, KS in June, 1900 on the ship Borkum from Bremen Germany to Galveston, Texas.

I know of 4 siblings of my great grandfather John Peter Stegmann. Mary Stegmann, (single) when she emigrated to Topeka, Matthias Stegmann, Anna Schoenfeld, (emigrated with mother Agnes, and her sister Mary), and Catherine Kisner who married Casper Kisner in Russia, then emigrated to Topeka, KS.

I have pictures of my GG Grandmother Agnes Stegmann, a family portrait of my great Grandfather and his family, and a family portrait of Casper and Catherine Kisner and family in case you are interested.
