My husband's grandfather was Seibert Burgin born 1884 in Anderson, ky. He died in Clermont, Ky in 1976. He was born an Ashby I was told, but a Burgin family raised him. I have been unable to find either the Ashby or Burgin family. Seibert and his wife Hattie Mae Redman lived in Oldham county until the 1930's and then came to Bullitt county where they spent the remainder of their years raising their family.
