Hello Anya

Angelique Burl was my aunt. My father, Dubois B. McDonald, was one of her two brothers. Her other brother's name was John Thornton McDonald, my uncle J.T. Both my father and his brother J.T., are now dead. She also has a sister, my aunt Anita (McDonald) Nichols, who presently lives in New Orleans.

Aunt Angelique was born in Omaha, Nebraska and she died in New Orleans in 1978. Her mother's name was Edwina Goodwin( born in Lafayette or Pineville, Louisiana and died and is buried in New Orleans in 1930--Holt Cemetery). Angelique's father's, my grandfather, name was John Thornton McDonald and was born in Mexia, Texas and died and was buried in Oakland, California in 1965.

She first married Henry Porche (now dead) and had two sons, James and Charles. She later married Edward Burl (from White Castle, Louisiana) and had a son named Harold Burl (who died last year) .
