I'm trying to find a Louisa Renfro,Lucy Roberts,AKA Lucy Whitefeather.She was a full blooded Cherokee indian. Born in Greenup Co. KY. We were always told that we had a "squating squaw" as a ggrandmother or gggrandmother. She was supposed to have lived with her daughter Louisa St.Clair Cullin, M:to Joseph Washington Cullin born in Trimble,KY. untill she died in Warrick,Ind. in the early 20's.
I have a picture of her standing in a doorway with Louisa my ggrandmother,Joseph my ggrandfather my grandmother Ida Cullin Fark and my mother Ruby Helen Fark.Someone sent me a picture supposed to be Lucy and it looks almost identical to the woman standing in the doorway in my picture.
