The Burrell Society of CA and I worked with an English researcher for several years to learn about our mutual ancestors, who held the farms of Upper and Lower Roses Bower and Crag Shield, Warksburn, from about 1739-1818. I am now posting the findings on a website,"THE Burrell FAMILY OF ROSESBOWER" and will welcome descendants. You will need to contact me to receive a password; please be patient as I'm rather new at the website thing. The children of this family (I am descended from three of them) are Isobel b. 1746; Thomas 1747-1790; Marjory 1749-1797; Dorothy b. 1752; Mary 1755-1805; Cuthbert II 1758-1818; Jane b. 1761; Edward 1764-1852. Not all our findings confirm family legend, so do approach with an open mind.
