I have a family of Burrus in my cemetary. This is a joseph burrus originally from Amhurst VA. He was born in 1752 and fought in the Revolution. He married a Sophia Rucker and they have three children burried here. They are Lucyann, Charles, and William C.J. Burrus. William was the last to pass in 1859. COU*LD they be related to you? I have been unable to find ANY decendants of this family thus far. I can send E-Mail photos of the monuments if you widh.
