Classification: Biography
Surnames: Burse, Buirse
My name is Beverly. I am looking for relatives on my father side of the family. My father's name is James Burse. My grandfather name was James Burse. My father was born in Marianna, Arkansas. I don't know my grandmother's name( nickname "Sweet Child"). My grandfather lived in Marianna , but I don't think he was originally from there. I'm looking for any siblings, nieces or nephews that my grandfather had. I know he must have had at least two sisters because, I have first cousins, so I'm told, that are from Marianna and their last names are Mckenzie and Coleman. My grandmother, whom I never knew died when my father was about 5 or 6 years old. My grandfather did remarry a lady name Ms. Etta. I don't know if they lived in Marianna or if they moved to Helena after they were married. My father has lived in Oakland, CA, and it was rumored that he fathered a child while he was there. he must have had relatives there, back then people usually moved to where they already had family at. My father is living but he can't remember a lot of things, such as names and places. He will be 81 in october. My mother name was Dorothy Buirse. My father also lived in Michgan for a while. It is possible that he fathered some outside kids as well as some kids in between his marriages. I'm just looking to find relatives so that I can learn about my family tree. I don't want anything from anyone, just information. Sometimes when you find lost family members, you find more than you bargain for. Whatever your family tree contain, it's a part of you and may help you to understand the way you feel and act the way you do. I have already located some of my lost brothers and sisters and it's amazing how much we look and act alike. it's also important to learn about you family medical history. I hope to hear from you soon. Beverly
