I am researching this opart of my family. I am interested in the Burts of Edinburgh, Renfrew, Glasgow and Rutherglen.
The 1881 census has, at 20 York Place, Edinburgh, ;
James Burt : Agnes Burt (W) : James Burt (Son): Alexander Dunsmore (F in law) : William Dunsmore (B in law).
Any one connected to these?

I have definates of Peter Burt Dunsmore b. 1870 and the twins Jemima and Lizzie died in the 1950's.

My main line is Dunsmore but all links are appreciated
