Walter Keith Inkley 1929 ~ 2008 MAGNA - Walter Keith Inkley passed away peacefully February 24, 2008 in Taylorsville, Utah. He was born January 17, 1929 in Garfield, Utah to William and Hannah Evelyn Burton Inkley. He married Carol Wilde Thomas May 6, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. Walter served in the US Army from 1950-1952 during the Korean War. He retired from Kennecott Utah Copper after 36 years. He loved sports of any kind but his first love was baseball. He is survived by his sons, Keven (LuAnn) and Bart Inkley; sister, Bernice Fullmer; brothers, Bill (Barbara) and Heber (Kathy) Inkley; grandsons, Tyler (Jill) and Bryant Inkley. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol; sister, Betty; sons, Cory and Ellis; and daughter, Elva Jean. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2008 at the Peel Funeral Home, 8525 W. 2700 So., where friends and family may call Thursday one hour prior to services.
