My family history has no connection to Poland, though I know that "BUS" is a common name for some families that came from Poland. All of my BUS ancestors were from the Netherlands. I'm sorry I can't help you with the family of Jacob, Maryanna and Maria BUS.

Jacob Bus had two daughters that emigrated to Chicago Il. THe first was Maryanna in 1906 and Maria in 1909. They emigrated from Swieceny Austria/Poland. Any info appreciated.

Thomas Zarebski and Anna Bus

Hi my name is Marge Woods, I am researching my father's family. I have traced the family names back to Poland, and now I need some help. My father was Steven J Zarebski, son of Thomas Zarebski and Anna Bus. Anna immigrated at the age of 17 from Suncany Austria. Thomas emigrated from Glasgow Austria/Poland Sept 10 1903. Both came to the metro Chicago area. Any information on the Zarebski family name would be appreciated.
