Classification: Query
Surnames: Busby, Joyner
FYI: This is info. for the researchers of these men that I have found and offer for what it is worth.
Middle initial for Allen Busby b. 1798 was "R". Wife's name was Eleanor. Died around 1845. This info. found in old records of Friendship Baptist Church located at Mercer SUniversity Library in Macon, Ga. The four children that Allen committed to the state asylum at Milledgeville were little people (dwarfs). They were: Joseph, Mary, Thomas and Benjamin. See old Macon Telegraph article at this site: http://telegraph.galileo.usg.edu/telegraph/search. Article is dated Oct. 29. 1897 page 4.
William Reese Busby was said to have been a Cherokee indian according to information found in the Joyner Family Tree. His wife was said to have blonde hair and blue eyes. His Cherokee Indian name was "Red Feather". Does anyone out there have any way of proving if this is true?
