My Dad was Charles Webb Busey, who was very fond of his Aunt Helen and whose favorite cousin was Buddy Arnold (your Dad?) I am as stuck as you regarding the parentage of Arthur Busey. I can not find a single reference which clearly states that Isaac Busey had a son named Arthur, although other children are mentioned. I have often thought that John Bainbridge Busey might be a better bet, because he at least stayed in Kentucky his entire life, rather than moving on to Indiana or Illinois. However, lists of his children also do not include an Arthur. Are there any other choices that you know of? Are there any other Buseys besides the descendants of Mathew Busey and Edith Philpot? If you have figured this puzzle out, I would love to hear from you. Thanks.
