My granfdfather George Bushey b~1885, d.1960 .He had brothers Ira, Alfred, William? It is said that they moved from North Country to Jacksonville FL and then Brooklyn. My great-grandfather was a founder of Bushey Shipyards in Bklyn.NYMy father was Harold and his siblings are Mildred and Alfred(d.).There has been family debate whether the name is an Anglicized version of Boucher and hence French or is in fact English, since there is a suburb of London called Bushey.
