My aunt Minnie Harris Bushong was a dear gal and lived into her late 90s. She had no children and gave me all her old photos on her side of the family , Harris and Colosky and all her husband's Bushong items including furniture.
What a treasure the internet has been in tracing the Bushong history and particularly of Reverend James Bushong who was a chaplain in the Civil War and worked in Washington DC afterwards plus his Methodist churches in Ohio, Washington and Oregon. The Bushong family went to the Holy Land and took many photos also. It was thru the internet that I found Paul Clay in Ohio and it was he who put the album online for the world to enjoy. And yes, I'd saved it for 30 years looking for it's proper home.
So hats off to Paul!!
