Hi George,
I'm researching my family tree (obviously) and John Butrus' name just came up as someone married to a multiple-great aunt; I'm fairly certain we are at least indirectly related. If you are still out there (I know your message is quite dated), please contact me - sorzy@wideopenwest.com
Thanks,
Sharon

BUTRUS is not that common a name, I don't think, so I am hoping that you might know of the people I am looking for.

Anna Marie BUTRUS b. 22 Dec 1856 Washington County, Kansas, d. 29 Dec 1913. She married F. W. JOHNSON.

Anna and F. W. had a daughter, Jessie JOHNSON.

Couldl this Anna Marie be related to your line?

Hi Lucy,
I don't think there is any connection, although the names and dates are very interesting to me. Our family immigrated from Lebanon in the late 1800's (probably 1898). My research has inticated our name is of Lebanese origin. My Great Grandfather was from Basloquit, Lebanon. Although he refered to it as Ol' Syria.
I have found some Butrus families in Sydney, Australia. Our family initially lived in the Philadelphia area, and now both branches reside in N.J.
I will save the names and dates you have written and will let this message board know if I find any connection that might be of interest to you.
Best Regards,
George

Butrus Family Tree

To whom it may concern. I am the Great Grandson of Charles Butrus. Charles and brother John immigrated from Basluqit, Lebanon in 1892. There is possibly two step-brothers named Paul Tom MaKoul (could be spelled differently). My family first live in Philadelphia, then move to Atlantic City N.J. John also moved to NJ, in the Marlton area. If you are anyway related please contact the message board or myself.
