Henry Buxton was born in Derby circa 1849 but not found in the census for 1851. By 1861 he and his mother were living in a Staffs under the assumed name of Roberts. He reverted to his correct surname when he married Ellen Sophia Kirkham Wardle. I dont know his address in 1841 or where he and his parents were on the census night of 1851. I cant find a babtism record in Derby either so I am well and truly stuck. Did anyone come across the family? Anne and John Buxton with a son aged one or two in the 1851 census?
