Rhoda Buzzell, Eleazer Reynolds

Having difficulties determining which Rhoda Buzzell I am looking at. It appears that she was born in 1790, either in ME or MA. The woman I am searching for married Eleazer Reynolds in 1809 in Waldo Co., Maine (possibly Troy or Unity). Son is Russell Reynolds (1820-1892?)Any help would be appreciated. I'm struggling with this one.

As has been stated by others, Daniel Evans Buzzell was son of Daniel Taylor Buzzell (my GGGGrandfather). Working back, Dan T was SO Robert, SO Robert Evans, SO Joseph, SO John, SO John, SO Simon Bussey who married Margaret Wormwood in 1658. I can go into more detail if desired.

Hi,

I realise this is an old post but could your Robert Evans Buzzell born 1757 be the son of John Buzzell and Phebe Evans.....Phebe Evans was the daughter of Robert Evans ~ so seems likely.

John Buzzell and Phebe Evans had a son Solomon born 1751 so the family is in the right timeframe.

Delroy may be a brother of Delbert E ( not Daniel) and Frank Buzzell and possibly Dr. C P Buzzell as well.

I found a Delroy Buzzell in the Jamestown, ND area.
His Children are:
Delroy Buzzell jr born 9 July 1900 Died 1972 CA
and Frank Buzzell jr was born about 1907

Delroy may be a brother of Daniel E. and Frank Buzzell and possibly Dr.C P Buzzell as well. Their children were all registered in the 1915-1917 school census for Stutsman County.
Mary Buzzell (husband unknown )also had 2 children (Pearl & John) registered on the 1915 census

Dr. C P Buzzell, MD located his business practice in Napoleon in 1910 and relocated to Cleveland, ND in 1913.
Their children were:

David Buzzell was born 1901
Marion Buzzell was born 1908

All the above children were registered in the 1917 school census for Stutsman County, ND., Cleveland District
I dont know if Dr C P Buzzell was related to Frank and Daniel Buzzell; I expect so.

Daniel had 3 children; Lercy Buzzell was born 1900,Frank Buzzell JR was born 1907, and Jaunita was born 1910.

Since the names Buzzell and Marsh were in your post, I am wondering if the following applies to your research: My grandfather was Howard Marsh Buzzell born in Massachusetts in 1896. His father was a Stephen Buzzell - probably born in Vermont in 1872. I believe my grandfather had a brother Millard and a sister Edith. Please let me know if you have any information.

This is odd. I thought Ida Buzzell - born 1872 in Vermont - was married to my great-grandfather Stephen Buzzell. Perhaps I've got it all wrong and Ida was his sister? Have you found new info since your post

Read your note on the Buzzell family. My Grandmother was a Buzzell. Her father was John Eastman Buzzell born 1849, died Feb 26, 1908 in culbertson Nebraska. He was married to Anna Marie Deffendall. Lucia Ann Merry born 1842-43 in Stanstead, Quebec??, died 12/14/1924 aged 82 in Jamestown, ND. She married Daniel Evans Buzzell (although he is sometimes listed as Evans D.) on 12/19/1863 in Goose Creek, Piatt County, Illinois.

Daniel E. Buzzell born ~1842, I am not sure where but I believe in Canada. He died 12/7/1915, age 73, in Jamestown, ND. Their children were Delbert Evans Buzzell and Frank Ralph Buzzell. I am a descendant of Delbert. Frank Ralph born ~1886, died 7/3/1918 in Jamestown, ND. I have no record of Frank's spouse or children, if any.

Delbert born ~1877, died around 1937. He married twice, first to Bess Esler on 9/11/1899 in Jamestown, 2nd to Gertrude Anna Wheeler on 11/26/1908 in Jamestown. Bess died (in childbirth?) on 2/16/1908, age 27 in Jamestown. Children from first marriage (Bess) were John Henry, Edna Pearl, Frank Ralph, and Delroy. Children from Gertrude were Vincent and Juanita.

I am still searching info on Daniel's parents. Hope that helps.

I am a descendant of DANIEL and LUCINA HENRY BUZZELL. They had ten children. Lydia, Nathaniel, Henry, George, Orrin, Mary, Ira, Lottie, Otis and Riada(Ada). Most children were born in Illinois and some moved to MN and IA and to CA.

I am interested to find out what became of John Buzzell alias Coker 'blackamoor'. He was baptised in East Coker, Somerset, England on 18 May 1662. The Helyars of Coker Court, East Coker had a Jamaican sugar plantation and so John/Coker presumably came back with the family. There is no record of his burial in East Coker, and so I wonder where he lived the rest of his life.

I believe that one of my ancestors was the sister of your Hannah Buzzell. Her name was either Mary or Lydia Buzzell depending on the records I check. In her husbands probate record her name was Mary, so maybe Lydia was a middle name. She was born 13 Jan., 1787 in Bangor, Maine and married Alexander McAllister of Oak Bay, St David, New Brunswick. I have been looking for a info on the children of Isaac Buzzell of Bangor, do you have anything on Isaac and his children?

Marcia, I have a newspaper clipping of a Buzzell family reunion to be held at the home of Henry I. Buzzell on Winding Hill Road in Norridgewock. "Deacon Isaac Buzzell with his children traveled by ox team to E. Skowhegan. He had a wife and 7 children, James, Isaac, Lyman, Hiram, Roxiana, Alice and one other whose name is not recalled. E-mail me if you would like a copy of this clipping. The paper is dated July 21, 1927.
