Perhaps I am confused, would one of Frantz' children have a son named William

Hi,

Edith had three children to George Moody that Frenz adopted, Edith & Franz also had one daughter together.

The adopted Children are Kenneth Byington Helen Byington and Norma Jean Byington. Kenneth was my wife's stepfather, Kenneth & Norma Jean are deceased. Helen lives in Californa.

The child they had together was Martha Irene,she is also deceased.

I don't hane anything on an adopted son "Bill" or any other marriages for Franz.

I would be more that happy to share what I have.

I can help you, if you still need information. I'd also like to know of anyhting you may have since you posted this.

William Byington was my wifes step-father, grandfather. Franz Byington (William's Son) married Edith Lester, who was my wife's step fathers Mother. She (Lester) was married to a Moody first, which she had three children, when she married Franz adopted them plus they had another daughter(Martha). Williams wife Georgia was the daughter of Bradford J Bradly (b.9/1861 in Wisconson)& wife Mary.

My name is Rebecca,
On my birth certificate is says my father was David Wilton Byington, born in Missouri in 1933. I was born 2/20/1958, in Los Angeles, Calorfina. I have never been able to locate him. When I was 16 years I was given a picture of him and one of his mother. I wonder if this could possibly be the same David Wilton Byington.

Thought you might be interested in an item I saw on Antiques Roadshow from Savannah GA. The program was an old re-run and the item was a carved cow horn used as a powder horn given to soldiers, name of John Byington, in the very early 1700's. Valued in the thousands. Of course they never give the name of the owner.

I'm in Ottawa Canada. Can you tell me the name of the local history book, think I can access it myself. I've looked at Ohio too and no sign of him there. Not sure when Ohio became a state, maybe it was under a different jurisdiction earlier. I'm trying to eliminate this James as being the son of a NY family. I'm trying to claim that family for my own parentless James, who's also born between 1775 and 1780's, but who is living in Leeds County, Ontario, Canada later. My James also has a "traditional" origin that like Missouri James' Ohio origins isn't supported by records.
