John: I have contacted you directly by E-mail but wanted to acknowledge your response and assistance on the message board.
I have both Editions of your book, Byrams in America and they have served as the catalyst for my search for my roots.

I am grateful for the efforts you and others have put forth to assist us neophytes in learning more about our history.

I had the pleasure of taking some of my family to Plymouth a couple of years ago and my grandchildren were so excited. It was meaningful to them to know that their ancestors played a part in that history.

I had never seen the acronym "GOON" before, much less realized that I am one, I have been called one before but it was in an entirely context.
