Hi Lesley and Susan my grandfather was Benjamin Byram the son of James Byram, I know from my father Norman the son of Benjamin that his great uncle Harold owned a tannery in Farnley near Leeds, that his great aunt Hilda went to Australia, I think that Emma may have died in 1908, and Edgar was killed in a motor bike accident. I can give you some of the info on my Dad's brother Roy who was married twice and emigrated to Queensland, Australia just after we did. He also had 2 sisters Joan Byram who married John Luther Noble and Marie who was intellectually disabled and lived in Pudsey with my Grandmother, her name was Elsie Skerritt. I am looking for any info on James's Father and Mother and Sarah Ann Whitfield's fanily as there were so many Sarah and John Whitfield's around at the time and every family seems to have had at least 8 children.
