      <description>&lt;br&gt;&lt;a href="http://www.defense.gov/releases/release.aspx?releaseid=13688" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.defense.gov/releases/release.aspx?releaseid=13688&lt;/a&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;IMMEDIATE RELEASE	No. 587-10 &lt;br&gt;July 07, 2010&lt;br&gt;DOD Identifies Army Casualties&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;             The Department of Defense announced today the deaths of two soldiers who were supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;             They died July 5 in Kandahar, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered when insurgents attacked their vehicle with an improvised explosive device.  They were assigned to 1st Squadron, 71st Armor Regiment, 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division (Light Infantry), Fort Drum, N.Y.&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;             Killed were:  (See Link for Complete Release)&lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;             &lt;br&gt;&lt;br&gt;             Staff Sgt. Christopher F.
