I am so thrilled to have found this thread. My grandfather's name was Juan Caban. My great grandfather was named Apolinario. My grandfather lived in Moca (town of Plata) brother of Nero. He owned farmland in San Sebastian and was married to Ricarda Vargas (although he fathered children outside marriage). I would love to find out if any of the users who entered a post are actually related to me.
