Note: Victor Martel, father of Sophie Martel, was brother to my great grandmother, Sophie Martel (I think Victor's daughter was named after his sister). Victor's sister, Sophie Martel, was my great grandmother, and she was married to Elisabeth Royer's brother, Hypolite (aka Paul) Royer.
