In 1700, Henri arrived on the Mary & Ann with wife and one child. In 1705, he got naturalized and could then own land. 1 May 1708, he claimed 200 acres in headrights. I quote from the Henrico County VA Order Book 1707-1709, p35, "for the importation of him self and Mary his first wife, with Magdalane his second wife and Magdelane her Daughter to this Colony". So, what happened to that child who came with them on the Mary & Ann? If s/he had died, that would not matter as "Mary his first wife" had died and he could still claim her headright. Also, please note that Henri must have paid the passage for "Magdalane his second wife" and her daughter. Thus, this Magdalane is not Mary Harrison who was already in Virginia and is therefore his THIRD wife. Does anybody have evidence concerning these people? Does anybody have documentation such as marriage records or church records? Does anybody have evidence as to which woman was the mother of which child? Does anybody have any information concerning what became of the daughter Magdelane? (Does anybody besides me care?) -------Jo
