Classification: Query
Surnames: Cabell, Cabbell, Cabel
I am trying to find the parents of Lula "Lou" Cabbell or Cabell (my ggrandmother.) The surname has been known to be spelled several different ways such as.... Cabel or Cabell. Lulu was born Abt.1864 died Nov.19, 1950 in Marion Co. KY.Lula married James "Jim" Woodrum who was born in 1862 and died March 22, 1918 in Marion Co. KY.
Lula and James had 7 children. Five girls and two boys that I know of from the family bible........
1.Jessie Woodrum - who married Richard Vandyke (my grandparents) they lived and died in Marion Co. KY.
2.Estill Woodrum
3.Georgia Woodrum who married Mont Chelf
4.Bettie Woodrum who married Martin Adams
5.Ruby who married John Wayman - they also lived in KY.
6. Roy Woodrum - he also lived in KY.
7.Lizzie Woodrum who married Leslie Purdy
* The only information I can find on Lou Cabbell is in the 1910 census where she is married to James Woodrum. She is buried in the Old Liberty Cemetary in Marion Co. KY. beside of Pearl Malone Woodrum b. 03/1883 - d. 06/1971, D.E. Woodrum b. 11/21/1887 - d. 02/06/1961, Albert T. Lis 12/18/1916, Hazel Woodrum Lis b. 11/25/1908 - d. 11/26/1999. I'm not sure yet who these people where to her. I'm not sure if she had any sisters or brothers.
I thought maybe someone may know or have some information on this Cabell line. If you do and would share with me, it would be appreciated.
