Mrs. Eladio Ramos

Mrs. Maria Concepcion Ramos, 84, 407 West Ave. B, died at St. Elizabeth’s Hospital Friday afternoon. Born Dec. 8, 1893, in Mexico, she had been a resident of Hutchinson since 1919. Her husband, Eladio, died in 1945.

Member: Our Lady of Guadalupe Church.

Survivors: Daughter, Mrs. Rosemary Valdez, Los Angeles; sons, Lawrence, 497 West B; Joe, 328 West C; Tony, Colorado Springs; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchildren.

Funeral: 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church, Rev. Francis Cox. Burial: Fairlawn Cemetery. Rosary 8 p.m. Sunday, Johnson and Sons Chapel.

I am searching for ancestors related to my great-grandfather, whose last name was Cabelli. Since the names Cabelli and Cabello are so close in spelling I was curious if there was any connection. We are of Sephardic background; where does the Cabello family trace it's origins from. My great-grandfather was born in Jerusalem during the mid to late 1800's. If anyone has any info I would appreciate hearing from you. Thanks.
