Vivian Cabiness
SHELBY - Mrs. Vivian Ledford Cabiness, 89, of 1104 Hardin Road, died Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2003, at Cleveland Regional Medical Center.
Born in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Raymond Hill and Essie Blanton Ledford. She was a homemaker and member of First Baptist Church, the Jackie Sunday School class and the Keenagers Club.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Verdie Lee Ledford Wright.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Everett H. Cabiness of the home; and a nephew, David H. Wright of Zebulon.
The funeral will be Friday at 11 a.m. at Webb Chapel of First Baptist Church of Shelby with the Revs. Tony Tench and Perry Holleman officiating. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes before the service.
Entombment will be in Cleveland Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 7:30 at Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and at other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
