Surnames: Flowers, Cushing, Johnston
Abraham Cable was my 6th Great grandfather, and I've been reading as much as I can find about him. I've read that he loaned the government $50,000 to assist the financing of Washington's army, and I'm curious about why he did this? Can anyone point me to sites that tell about this?
