I am looking for information about my great-grandparents and their parents. Joseph and Gertrude married in Candelaria, Ponta Delgada in Sao Miguel. They had 8 children: Manuel (Manny), Francisco (Frank), Mary, Sara, Antonio (Tony), Joseph, Joao (John) and William (the youngest and my grandfather, born Jan. 7, 1920. I believe they were all born in the US so Joseph and Gertrude would have had to have sailed to the US in the late 1800's or early 1900's. I think my great-grandparents may have settled in CT but I am not sure. At least 2 of their children lived their adult lives in Somerset, MA - William and Frank. Any further information would be greatly appreciated.
