I've recently learned that my grandmother, Rosalia Cacciatore LaRosa, had a brother Giocamo Cacciatore, born in 1871 in San Biagio Platani, Sicily. He was a teacher and married Maria Anna Mazza from Menfi, also a teacher, in 1898, in San Biagio. They had a daughter, Aliosia Cacciatore, in 1900 and a son, Giocomo Cacciatore, in 1901. Giocomo, the father of the children, died several months before the son Giocomo was born. Maria Anna Mazza Cacciatore's parents had died before the marriage, so she probably stayed in S. Biagio and remarried. The children may have come to the United States. I'd appreciate any information. Thanks.
