I am researching the John Giles family of Millsboro,East Bethlehem Twp., Washington Co., PA
In the 1870 census John Giles is age 33 and wife Lydia A. is age 17.
Today I located an obit for their son William Ethelbert Giles of Connellsville, Fayette Co.,PA. The obit lists his parents as John and ELIZABETH CADDY Giles.
In locating the census records for John and Lydia, she is always listed as Lydia, and her age always changes, so she could be born from 1828 to 1843, but think the 1870 may be correct.
Childrens names were Sarah Elizabeth, Minnie May "Bell", Isaac Newton, William Ethelbert, Winfield S. and possibly a Mely.
Any assistance greatly appreciated. Willing to share this Giles data.
