I am in the process of investigating my paternal father's history. My grandfather, Stephen Cafiero was born in Brooklyn, NY in 1884. He married Giovannina D'Esposito in 1917 and they had 7 children. His father, Antonino Cafiero was from Meta of Sorrento. Grandpa had 3 brothers and a sister, Guiseppe, Chick, Antonio and Filomena. I am trying to find out when my great grandfather, Antonino Cafiero emigrated to the U.S., when and if he becamed a citizen when he died. He was married to Fortunata Capillo (or Capiello).
