Hi, so exited to find you cafiero's. Doing the family history here in UK. and I have lost my g,father Francesco Vincenso Cafiero. He was born in 1829 and family rumour hints at Sorrento. His farther was Dominic Cafiero, a shoe maker, but I have no address for him. Vincent, as he was known in UK, married a Christiana Smith in 1859 in Liverpool, they had a son , my g'dad, named Francis. Vincent was a Mariner and I cannot find any death cert. for him. Francis was still illiterate on his second marriage in 1899 and the registrar spelt his name CAFEARO, which we hold to this day, we are the only branch of the Cafiero's named Cafearo. Did Vincent do a runner and does anyone know of a Dominic, a shoemaker?? John
