I don't know how this all fits together. I am getting knots in my roots. There was another James Burns (1800) from NC that went to Missouri and was married to Sarah. I mixed them in with mine by mistake and now have a mess.

I also have the death certificate for Juliet Potts that lists her father as James Burns (SC) and her mother as Mahaley Alton(?)(SC).
