My Great grandmother was Catherine Cairns b.9 Oct 1860 at Banoge, Waringstown, Co Down, Ireland. She had a brother, William b. 10 July 1862 and another, David b. 19 July 1864, a sister Eliza who died near Boston,Mass. May 1910 and a second sister Susan who married into a family of Mateer. Catherine had an address at 53 Paarsall Ave., Jersey City in 1924 having been naturalised in 1922. She married a Thomas Alexander on 22 Jan 1886 in Belfast, Ireland.
