I'm researching the Cairns family of Canonbie. Thomas Cairns (b abt 1791 Canonbie) married Elizabeth Allen (b abt 1795 Canonbie) in Canonbie in abt 1816. Their son, William Allen Cairns, was born in Canonbie in September 1817. I'd like to hear from anyone with connections to this line.
