Luther Martin Calaway was my dad's half-brother. Their father was Jasper S. Calaway who was born in 1850. At the time of Jasper's death he was in Howard County, Arkansas. Jasper was married 3 times, and had 11 children. Luther Martin was the oldest of 4 children born to Jasper and his second wife, Donie Jester Beggs. Henry(b.1889), Claudia (b.1893) and Travers R (b. 1895) were Luther's other siblings. My dad was born to Jasper's third wife; thus a half-brother to Luther. I believe Luther settled in Oklahoma.
