I am also descended from William And Diana Calder. Their eldest daughter Margaret Calder was my paternal great grandmother who married my great grandfather George James Peterman in 1877.

I have some documents which may be of interest to the direct Calder family descendents and which I would be happy to share via e-mail. These are the original hand written will of John Calder from 1898 in which he discusses the disposition of his farm in Sunnidale, Simcoe County, as well as the original marriage certificate of John Calder and Diana Clyne from Thurso Scotland in 1850 signed by the minister who performed their marriage ceremony. I also have a photograph of the Calders taken in the 1880s with my great grandmother Margaret, and would be pleased to receive in return any further authenticated photos or documents relating to her.
