There are no cross overs at present but I'm sure if we went back far enough we would find something!

The earliest Calder that I have is Alexander born mid 1700's in the Forfar area he married Margaret Reid and they had four children: George (1787) Margaret (1790) William (1794) and Alexander (1797). George married Elizabeth Williamson and they moved to Aberlemno, near Forfar. They had 10 children and my husband is descended from one of these. Descendant of one of the other children still live in the area and another branch emigrated to Australia.
