Hi,
I have Calders that came west to Oregon and Washington. Horatio was to have left Red River Settlement and arrived in Oregon in 1841 with the Sinclair party.
I descend from Horatio Nelson Calder, b 1806, Red River Settlement and Nancy Budd.
I have conflicting info as to who Horatio's parents were. Some say James Calder married to Nancy Lindsay and others say John Calder married to Sarah Humphries/Humphreyville. (Still trying to sort this out).
Siblings of Horatio: Peter, Nancy, Elizabeth, John, Henry, George and William.
Children of Horatio and Nancy: Sarah, Letita, John, Nelson and Charles.
Charles Calder, b 1848 married Margaret Ann Burston.
Does this sound familiar to anyone?
