Hi, I'm looking for information about the Calderon family of Mazatlan. It came from Aguascalientes, but I don't know the names of ancestors there. Can you help me?
Mazatlan names include: Santiago who married Maria Ygnacia Concepcion Castelan; a son Santiago who married Felicitas Alvarez in Mazatlan; Vicente Calderon who married Sixta Suaieta (spelling?)before 1828 in Aguascalientes; and Manuel Calderon who married Dolores Burgos Pomar before 1877. Manuel's and Santiago's marriages probably were in Mazatlan.

I am doing some genealogical research for my wife, whose great-grandfather is Antonio or Antone Calderoni. She believes that he was born in 1880 in Palermo, Sicily and died in 1957 in San Francisco. Also, she believes that the Bay Area is where he met and married Antoinette Minore (maiden name) in the early 1900's and then had some kids pretty soon after (Cathrine, Cecil, Florence and Theodore)
We are looking for information on generations on and before Antonio (and Antoinette as well, if possible). Siblings, parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, and so on.
We think that previous generations were still using "Calderoni," but there is a small possibility that they may have gone by "Calderon.

Frances Calderon, 75, Inverness, died Wednesday, March 26, 2008, in Lecanto.

She was born June 16, 1932, to Antonio and Eulalia (Figaroa) Virella and came here 18 years ago from her native New York City, N.Y.

Mrs. Calderon was a homemaker, a member of the Christian Recovery Fellowship and a member of the Spanish American Club of Citrus County.

She enjoyed being a mother, cook and matriarch of the family. She loved children and was everything to her family.

Her parents and daughter, Arlene Calderon, preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband, Emilio Calderon of Inverness; two sons, Emil Calderon and wife Carmen of Springfield, Mass., and Anthony Calderon of Inverness; daughter, Deborah Moy and husband William of Queens Village, N.Y.; brother, Anthony Virella and wife Esperanza of Inverness; sister, Juanita Thompson and husband Jack of Inverness; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

I am looking for info on my great-great-grandfather, Juan Ramon Calderon Mujica. Per census info, he was born in Puerto Rico ~1830-31, lived in Loiza in 1910 and Rio Piedras in 1920.

Assuming I have the right info, he was also one of the founders/first mayor of Canovanas in 1909. I have also been told his parents names were "Jose and Maria Matias Mujica". He was married first to a Monserrate Novoa Borges and later to Clara Carrion.

Name's Rolando born at El Timbinal, Grandparents are Trinidad Calderon and Lucia Calderon on fathers side and (Juan) Ismael Calderón Flores and Carmen Zavala Vega on mother's side, don't have much info on Dad's side yet but on Mom's grandparents are Juan Ismael Calderon Florez from La Ladera Michoacan and Carmen Zavala Vega from El Salto Michoacan. My name is Juana Belen Calderon. I was born May 6th 1934. My mother's name was Pilar Figueroa. My father's name was Jacinto Calderon. I was born and brought up in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

Pilar Figueroa and Jacinto were married around 1933. I know that Pilar died before 1940. I am also aware that Pilar had twins by a previous husband. the twins died at a very early age. My father Jacinto died around 1946.

Victor Zamudio born around the late 1940's or early 1950's son of Jose Zamudio and Apolonia Calderon. Brother of Manuel J. and Joseph and Carmen. Manuel & Joseph were shot in a drive-by at a hamburger stand in E.L.A. in the early 1970. The Zamudio Children put in foster care when Apolonia was killed in an auto accidentin the mid 1950's. Hilario F. Calderon, 73, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2004. Mr. Calderon worked several years for Wylie Bros. and Universal Construction Companies. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 52 years, Basilisa; sons, Samuel Calderon and wife Alicia, Oscar Calderon, Gabriel Calderon and fiance Sandralee, Juan Calderon and wife Rita; daughters, Amalia Chavez, Grace Estrada and husband Edward and Lupe Sanchez and husband Celso; sister, Trine and Aunt Tula Rodriguez; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The last person to hold ties with our Calderon lineage has passed away a couple of years ago, and now the family is very much interested in meeting the part of the family we never knew. My great-grandfather was Joaquin Calderon. That I know of he had two daughters, my grandmother, Lily-- her name on the birthcertifcate was left as Babygirl and her half-sister, Gladys who lived in Brooklyn, New York most of her life. That I know of she had a cousin by the name of Juan Calderon and he went into politics and she had seen him on a cruise somtime around the late 80's or early 90's but that all that I know of him. I'm hoping that someone might know a Juan Calderon who is the nephew of a Joaquin Calderon. Also, that I know of Joaquin used to serve in the military. Thanks for any help that be given.

Ramona A. Bloomenrader, 79, of Cheyenne, Wyoming died Monday at United Medical Center-West.
She was born January 10, 1923, in Dawson, New Mexico, and had lived here since 1942.
Mrs. Bloomenrader was a teacher's aide for Laramie County School District for 20 years.
She is survived by a daughter, Kathy Daly of Cheyenne; a sister, Sally Villa of Gallup, New Mexico; and two grandchildren, John Daly of Cheyenne and Mercedes Daly of Laramie, Wyoming.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Bloomenrader on August 13, 1999; a son, Roy Allen Bloomenrader; her parents, Ralph and Petra Calderon; two brothers, Narsisicio Calderon and Anaseto Calderon; and three sisters, Mary Petranovich, Connie Cordova and Honey Gulick.
Vigil for the Deceased will be Monday, 7 p.m. at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel of the Chimes.
Mass will be Tuesday, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Cathedral with the Rev. Gary Ruzicka as the celebrant.
Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens.
Friends may contribute to a charity of their choice.

My grandfather Julio Calderon was born in 1906 Moreila. Mexico. He met my grandmother Carolina Ramirez in Lawton Oklahoma and they married in 1927 in Lawton. She was 15 and he was 21 at the time. He was killed in December 1934, my father was 8 months old.

I have little information regarding Julio, only to know that he has/had family in Moreila, a brother named Vulente and his mother named Soledad. Carolina and Julio had 5 children together: Alfred, Alexander, Ellidia, Soledad, Juilo, Jr. All were born in Lawton Oklahoma.

It's possible that he may have been married before he met my grandmother in 1927. I have a love letter addressed to Julio from Chucandiro Mexico signed by Guadalupe Calderon dated July, 1923 asking for him to return to Mexico.

Any information would be great.
