Was Dewey Prater born in West Virginia? Did he have a sister named Cora born in 1896 in Fayette County, Fayetteville, West Virginia?

Sarah Elizabeth Coldiron, b. 4 Mar 1864, Magoffin Co., KY, dau. of James Hiram Coldiron and Rebecca Blanton, married James H. McCarty on 6 Feb 1879 in Magoffin Co., KY. James and Sarah had 9 children, one being Clifton, b. 1 Dec 1890, Oil Springs, Johnson Co., KY.

I have more information about this family and have Sarah's Coldiron ancestors back to the early 1600's in Germany.

My grandfather Adam Prater was born in Ky around paintville maybe. he was born in 1898 or 1899 not sure. He married Eunice Dotson. They moved to Ohio, Logan Co. Belle Center. When I find out more I'll post it.

My GGrandfathers name was Wilbur Coldiron-from KY. He married Elizabeth Rowe my GGrandmother. My Grandmothers name was Grace Coldiron. She married Dewey Prater(born1903, died1976). They had twelve children, but only two survived. My Mother-Evie and my Aunt-Paline. My Mothers Mother(Grace)Passed away when she was nine years old. Her sister is much older than her. So Momma was raised by my Grandfather and he was a qiet man and did't talk much about these things or have any records. If anyone has any information for me ,please let me know. Thanks:) Lisa Carter
