It is amazing what can be found if the right person reads the right question at the right time. You will be surprised at how many cousins you have with this family also. This family goes back to Germany and will go through several changes in the spelling of the Cale name. Jesse's father was George Cale, he is buried in Mt. Zion Cemetery in Gurnsey County, Ohio. His father is John Cale or Kale, he is buried in Capon Springs, WV near Winchester, VA. John fought in the Virginia Militia in the Revolutionary War. He came to America as a boy from Germany.
