There is some question now as to who the parents of Jacob GREATHOUSE were. Some say his parents were John & Milly [GILLESPI (spelling ?)] GREATHOUSE. Jacob GREATHOUSE, was in the 1900 census of Preston Co.,living with my gr-grandfather, his son, Simon & my grandmother Emma was still at home. In the 1910 census Simon was still living in Preston Co., but Jacob was not with them. I presume that Jacob died between 1900 & 1910 in Preston Co.
I would dearly love to find out if there is a death record for him in Preston Co. & how much the fee for death certificate is. Maybe his parents were listed on his death info. Looking forward to hearing from you.
